Kabuchai Member of Parliament James Lusweti has passed on while receiving treatment at a Nairobi Hospital.
Ford Kenya Party Leader Moses Wetangula has confirmed his death saying that Lusweti was a man whose political journey was a hallmark of resilience and who started as a youth leader, councillor and chairman of the Bungoma County Council.
Wetangula at the same time described him as a member of Ford Kenya who never let him down since he took over as an MP and who believed in grassroots empowerment.
“Luweti was also known for his non-confrontational politics,” added Bungoma Senator Wetangula.
