The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has committed $500 million to Africa’s digital economy under its new project dubbed Consortium for Africa.
According to the country’s Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director-General of Expo 2020 Dubai, Reem Ebrahim Al Hashemi, the fund seeks to build extensive human capital, with a great focus on digitization and youth.
Therefore, the long term goal for the investment is to ensure the youths embrace any digital opportunities in the future.
And we are committed to helping deliver the apparatus in which start-ups can thrive, entrepreneurs can lead, and young people can look forward with optimism to a future that is firmly in their control.
