Businesswoman and socialite Vera Sidika is pushing the legal boundaries to the limit after she posted a photo of a gun next to her stylish Louis Vuitton bag.
Vera flaunted the firearm on social media while also issuing a warning to her detractors.
Taking to her Snapchat, Vera who is currently in Mombasa, posted the photo with the caption,
“Bad energy stay far away.”
This was accentuated with a head exploding emoji. Check it out below.
Owning a firearm in Kenya is a luxury and it will cost you between Sh100, 000 and Sh350, 000 when purchased legally.
Anyhow, it is not clear if the pistol belongs to Vera but what is clear is the veiled threat against any of her haters.
What Miss Sidika may not know is that improper exhibition of a firearm could land her into legal trouble among other legal consequences.
Article 88 of the penal code prohibits brandishing of weapons in public, warning that
“any person who goes armed in public without lawful occasion in such a manner as to cause terror to any person is guilty of a misdemeanour, and his arms may be forfeited”.
